Just for ME

Now that the last of the tinsel has been vacuumed, and the lone forgotten ornament has finally joined all the others, I did just a little shopping just for me. My family and friends don't always get me, especially when I start ranting about things like irons and sewing machines. They get a dazed look and humor me. That is okay, I still love them. But, I had to get me some new things for the studio, or at least for me in the studio. My newest conquests have me so excited (the family just goes "that's nice") I just have to share.

Arm warmers, so okay maybe no one else is as excited as I am, but when you have cold hands when sewing, or driving, etc, it can be a beautiful thing. The other day I received my navy arm warmers from DanielleDIY and I have been in heaven ever since. Great construction and very reasonable on the price end also! I only take them off when I have too, so I may have to order another pair so that one pair can get thrown in the washer and another pair is available.

The next purchase I made was a pincushion. I know it is nothing to write home about but I am crazy about it. Large, cute, and very well made by Loose String. The daughter thought it was too nice to stick pins in, and she was right, but I did it anyway! It was larger than pictured and I was even more thrilled by that. Some days it doesn't take much to spruce things up for me in this studio. So much for the me things, it is time to get back to getting the fly wheel humming. New fabrics have passed over the cutting table and I can't wait to share.
