A Surprise

Outside the back door was this long and lankey weed, or so I thought. The past couple of days a bright red flower was forming and basically saved it's own life. At this point I wanted to see what the flower of this weed looked like. SURPRISE! This is what I was first thing this morning. Somedays it pays to be wrong.
